How payouts work

Every closing on Agent Lead Exchange lands in one of two shapes — you refer the lead to another agent, or you work your own lead with no other agent involved. Here is exactly who gets paid, how much, and when.

Two ways you get paid

On a $15,000.00 gross commission — every rate is fixed in your signed agreement.

Referred deal · you referred the lead

REFERRED

When this applies: You hand a lead to another Agent Lead Exchange agent under a signed referral agreement. Two agents are attached to the deal, so the commission splits.

The closing packet names every payee and exact amount. The broker or title company pays each party directly and returns proof for the audit trail. The platform takes 0% from every commission — platform revenue comes from the Agent Pro subscription.

ExampleA past client is moving to Denver and needs an agent. You send the lead to an Agent Lead Exchange agent who closes at $600,000 GCI = $18,000 commission. Result: $14,400 (80%) to the receiver and $3,600 (20%) to you as the referring agent.

Your own lead · no other agent involved

NO REFERRAL

When this applies: The lead reached you directly — your webhook, your public referral form, or manual entry — or you brought it in and chose “Work this lead myself” on the lead page. No referral agreement is created and no referral fee is owed.

The closing is still recorded and packeted so you keep the audit trail — there is simply no split to enforce, because there is no second party. You keep 100% of the commission, and the platform takes 0%.

ExampleA past client calls you directly. You log the lead in Agent Lead Exchange to keep the paper trail, work it yourself, and close at $500,000 GCI = $15,000 commission. Result: $15,000 (100%) to you.

If something goes wrong
Failures and disputes are surfaced — not hidden.

• Missing payment proof raises an item in the Admin Action Center and alerts the affected parties.

• Corrected closing figures generate a superseding packet with a complete version history.

• Payment disputes preserve the agreement, packet, calculations, and proof for formal review.
